Welcome to 2008!

 

Hi, my name is Sandra! I’ve been with the team for 8 years now and can’t seem to get enough. I have ridden both my horses Tyke (Black QH) and Peanut (Buckskin) at drill, plus a few borrowed horses for good measure.

 

Drill is something very special. It creates a bond with your horse, it gives you something to work towards and the friendship is a reward within itself. I enjoy my time with the team and look forward to each and every practice.

 

This year I have more responsibilities with work and school, but am still coming out to support the girls when I can. Tyke is semi-retired and Peanut is with a new family for a little while. I will continue to do parades and anthems with Tyke until I’m finished school, then its’ full time again with Peanut!
